Use & Care

Each time you light your candle, trim the wick to 1/4" to help ensure a cleaner burn. Bonus, it helps to reduce soot on the glass.
After lighting your candle, it should until the wax pools to the edges of the glass (especially on the very first burn).
After extinguishing the flame, let your candle completely cool before the next burn.
When the candle has only 1/2" of wax left, it's time to replace it. Continuing to burn with less than 1/2" of wax can be really dangerous (candles could shatter or catch fire).
Warning from Votivo: Always burn candles within sight. Keep away from things that catch fire. Keep away from children. To prevent fire, place only on heat resistant surfaces. Avoid drafts. Avoid cold surfaces such as glass or marble. Keep foreign matter and wick trimmings out of candle.
